Medicine From Hell

The battle to eliminate SSRI drugs can only be won by you sharing video's like the one above with family and friends. If you can keep just one person from falling victim to these drugs, you will be a warrior who has struck a blow against spiritual forces from hell.

Depression is very real, but in most circumstances is a spiritual matter...not a medical problem. Depression is but one result of what happens when the Peace of God is traded for buying into the lies of the world. Greed, lust, hatred, selfishness and unforgiveness are the tell-tale symptoms behind depression.

Modern medicine is not equipped to diagnose or treat spiritual sickness. But since modern medicine is trusted as God by many people (including many Christians), depression is treated as though it were a medical condition.

There is both godly and evil medicine. Medicine from God always heals and never kills. Medicine from hell never heals and can only kill. This is how you can test good medicine from bad.

Drug companies that produce SSRI's are driven by greed and power at the expense of human life. They lie to doctors and the public about their products. They influence politicians and overseers to serve their goals of more money and power.

Why Psychology Cannot Heal the Soul ?

The Dangers of Integrating the Bible and Psychology
- by Pastor Bob DeWaay  www.cicministry.org

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (2Timothy 3:16,17)

Is the person who is trained in Scripture, anointed by the Holy Spirit, and called by God to minister to the lost and hurting adequately equipped to counsel? For centuries of church history, the answer was an unequivocal "yes." Modern psychology has radically changed the answer to this question.

Psychology and the Church
Some seminaries and Bible colleges now offer a broader range of psychological training for prospective minis- ters than Biblical training. Nearly all of them require the study of psychology. Many assert that any pastor or church worker untrained in modern psychology is not equipped to counsel anyone, no matter how knowl- edgeable he may be in Scripture or how many years of experience he has. Counseling individuals about marriage, family, emotional distress, personal relationships, raising children, work, etc. no longer fits the category "every good work," for which Scripture itself claims to equip one.

Another professor of psychology is even more suspicious of the effectiveness of psychology: "Despite the creation of a virtual army of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychometrists, counselors, and social workers, there has been no letup in the rate of mental illness, suicide, alcoholism, drug addiction, child abuse, divorce, murder, and general mayhem.

Untold billions of dollars have been spent in the arena of mental health this century. Can you think of one human malady that has been cured as a result?

Questions for the Psychological Integrators

1) How do we accept or reject the many competing theories that are being presented to us in cur- rent literature, especially since the scientists in these fields themselves are unable to come to agreement?

2) When has sufficient, reasonable probability been shown to integrate "God's truths" as found in psychology and sociology with the body of revealed truth found in Scripture?

3) Are truths gleaned by science from the creation to be given a one to one degree of significance with Biblically revealed truths discerned hermeneutically (through proper Biblical interpretation)?

4) How many pastors and other Christian workers have the time or skills to sort through the deluge of conflicting data from these arenas and determine that which is truthful, workable, and pertinent to integrate into his or her practice?

5) How do we extricate (remove or untangle) the occult and New Age practices that are so much a part of counseling and the social sciences in the 1990-s?

6) Does not the integration of so-called "social science" into the church necessarily lead to the development of a psychological and sociological "priesthood" to mediate their obscure "truths" to the uninitiated laity?

7) Are those who advocate integrating teachings from psychology and sociology with Biblical teach- ings raising the theories of these human endeavors to the level of Biblical truth, or are they lowering Biblical truth to the level of the unproven theories?

Jesus Christ is our Creator (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2). He has perfect knowledge of man, including that of the motives and intentions of the heart. He has the power to heal, the love and mercy to forgive, and embodies and teaches the truth which will set us free.

Isaiah 28 records a rebuke to Israel for forsaking God's teaching and making an alliance with Egypt, hoping to be saved from Assyria. In the midst of this chapter is an often quoted Messianic prophecy (Isaiah 28:16). Verse 20 uses a metaphor to describe the world's provision: "The bed is too short on which to stretch out, and the blanket is too small to wrap oneself in." A clear implication of Isaiah 28 is that when Messiah is passed over for a man-made, secular solution, the results are unsatisfactory.

The psychological bed upon which the Christian is seeking to recline is too short. "Therefore thus says the Lord God, `Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed'" (Isaiah 28:16).

The BIBLE vs. PSYCHOLOGY

THE WORD OF GOD vs.THE WORDS OF MEN

"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:3).

THE AUTHOR OF THIS ARTICLE seeks to warn Christians that when they turn from the Word of God to the words of men, they are inviting a "corrupt mind" and a blurred identity. The "bad behavior" this article refers to is functional, having no basis in physically measurable ailments.

In these days of increasing mental and emotional conflict and strain, many people, including Christians, have been encouraged to turn to psychology, psychiatry and psychoanalysis for the solutions to their problems. This is a dangerous trend for at least four reasons:

FIRST: Because the fields of psychology, psychiatry and psychoanalysis are highly speculative, radically experimental and anti-biblical in their basic theoretical suppositions;

SECOND: Because the accepted authorities in these fields start from the unscriptural and anti-biblical theory of evolution, denying man's present spiritual need and eternal existence;

THIRD: Because these programs, including so- called "Christian Psychology," invariably result in giving the changing theories of men precedence over the unchanging Word of God;

FOURTH: Because it leads people to seek the solutions to their problems apart from submission to the Word of God and the Spirit of God, leaving them with a false hope and a rude awakening.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS

THE HOLY BIBLE - inspired by Almighty God

or PSYCHOLOGY- invented by sinful man

It is essential to recognize that the BIBLE and PSYCHOLOGY represent two contradictory views of God, man, sin, the Bible and eternity. This makes it impossible to reconcile or combine the two as is being attempted in so called "Christian Psychology." Regardless of the sincerity of the people in these fields, they literally become the "High Priests of Humanism." God's people need to be WARNED! -B. Pollard

Consider the answers to these questions. . .

Man's Question: WHAT AM I?

The Bible says...
MAN IS THE CREATION OF GOD WITH BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT-
"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly: and I pray God your whole SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 5:23. See also Genesis 1:26; 2:7.

Psychology says
MAN IS A CREATURE OF EVOLUTION WITH BODY, MIND AND PERSONALITY-...
"Another very important influence came from Darwin and the theory of evolution. For if all animals are blood relatives in respect to bodily structure must they not be the same in respect to behavior and mentality? -DR. ROBERT S. WOODWORTH

"Darwin...kept a diary of his infant son.... This record was one of the sources for the beginning of modern child psychology. -DR. ROBERT L. WATSON

Man's Question: WHAT IS MY GOAL IN LIFE?

The Bible says...
TO GLORIFY GOD-
"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. "1 Corinthians 6:20. See also 1 Corinthians 10:31 and Psalm 73:24, 26.

Psychology says...
TO ADJUST TO MY FELLOW MAN-
"Of course, to win for one's self a place in society and so transform one's nature that it is more or less fitted to this existence, is in every instance an important achievement."-DR. CARL G. JUNG

Man's Question: WHO IS MY SUPREME AUTHORITY?

The Bible says...
GOD-
"I am the Lord thy God.. .Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:2, 3. See also Ephesians 1:4, 11.

Psychology says...
MAN-
"...psychotherapists are now permitted by tacit agreement, to set the standard of what is right and wrong. -DR. L. B. LEFEBRE

Man's Question:  WHAT IS MY STANDARD OF BEHAVIOR?

The Bible says...
THE WORD OF GOD-
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

Psychology says...
THE NORMS OF SOCIETY-
"People whose behavior differs widely and steadily from social requirements are called 'abnormal .' Since societies differ in their requirements, an act that is normal in one place may be abnormal in another." -DR. A. P. SPERLING

Man's Question: WHAT IS THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO ACHIEVING MY GOAL?

The Bible says...
SIN-
"...there is none righteous, no, not one....For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:10, 23. See also Romans 7:11 and James 4:17.

Psychology says...
BAD BEHAVIOR-
" which falls into three general classifications: Neurosis, psychosis and mental illness. "If anxieties and confusion therefore seriously interfere with one's life, he is considered emotionally or mentally ill."-DR. CLYDE NARRAMORE

Man's Question: WHY DOES "BAD BEHAVIOR" EXIST?

The Bible says...
A SINFUL HEART-
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9.

Psychology says...
SEX, ENVIRONMENT, POWER DRIVE, OUR CULTURE, ETC.-
"The most specific example of the negative effects of religion as a force of repression and control appears in Freud's discussion of civilized sexual morality and modern nervousness. He deplores Western religious controls...which are so rigid and unnatural that the sexual abilities of individuals is impaired, perverted or neuroticized."-DR. WAYNE OATES

Man's Question: WHAT CAN EFFECTIVELY CHANGE THIS SINFUL BEHAVIOR?

The Bible says...
FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST-
"Wherefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17. See also John 3:3, 16; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Luke 4:4.

Psychology says...
FASTENING GUILT ON PARENTS OR SOCIETY; FREEING REPRESSED DESIRES; DRUGS; PSYCHOANALYSIS; SENSITIVITY TRAINING; GROUP THERAPY; ETC.-
"And until one has 'worked through' and resolved his guilt in the face of mankind, he is not fully healed and whole. -DR. O. HOBART MOWRER

Can You Really Trust Psychology?

Book - PROPHETS OF PSYCHOHERESY by Martin and Deidre Bobgan

http://www.psychoheresy-aware.org

COMMENTS by Ed Payne, M.D.
These chapters level another devastating argument against psychologists who are Christians in general and Dr. Gary Collins in particular. The argument is thorough, as it counters psychology on its basis as science, its claim to truth, its integration with Scripture, its being religion, its effectiveness, and its humanism (self-centeredness). While I have some familiarity with the psychological literature, the amount of research against psychology is amazing and from people in their own camps. It is fascinating that while the federal government is willing to subsidize almost anything today (except conservative Christians), there is insufficient evidence of efficacy for a Senate subcommittee to “justify public support” of psychology (Chapter 5).

I find the supposed attempt at the “integration” of psychology with Scripture to be the most arrogant and serious claim of Collins and others. With all the warnings in Scripture of “being in the world, but not of the world” and the separation of God’s truth from all other claims represented as darkness and light, the impossibility of integration of avowedly pagan psychologists with Scripture seems obvious. One begins to wonder whether these promoters of psychology have any biblical discernment.

In fact, discernment seems to be exactly what Christians most want to avoid these days. For all the focus on spiritual gifts over the past decade, how often does any organization seek those with discernment? Evangelists, teachers, seminar leaders, and those with the gift of “helps” are actively sought, but few seek the prophets to discern truth and error. Modern Christians treat those with discernment no better than the prophets of the Old Testament. They are not stoned, but they are effectively isolated from key positions and from most Christian publishers.

With so many concepts contrary to Scripture and all the arguments against psychology, one wonders why it continues to be so widely accepted among conservative Christians. The only conclusion seems to be that psychological concepts appeal to man’s sin nature. Why else would Christians choose a way that was contrary to God’s way? Indeed, Adam and Eve were enticed away from God by Satan’s lie that they would be “like God.” Ironically, the concept of “self-esteem” that is advocated by so many Christians in psychology is consistent with this sinful appeal.

Psychologists who are Christians are not primarily at fault. Church leaders must bear the guilt of the invasion of psychology into the church. These are the people who are ordained of God to guard the minds of their sheep. Instead, they have invited wolves into the fold. Christian publishers are guilty as well. The “profit margin” has become the most important consideration for them. In reality Christian publishing ought to be under the authority of the church, so even in this area church leaders are at fault.

No greater issue faces the modern, true church than this Trojan horse of psychology. It has a stranglehold that will not be easily loosened. I applaud the scholarly efforts herein along with the few others who attempt to free the church of the religion of psychology.

Ed Payne, M.D., is Professor of Family Medicine, Medical College of Georgia, and author of Biblical/Medical Ethics.

Scientific Facade.
If the type of psychology we are discussing does not meet the rigors of scientific inquiry and yet continues to claim scientific status, we must wonder if it is indeed pseudoscience. The dictionary definition of pseudoscience certainly seems to fit: “a system of theories, assumptions, and methods erroneously regarded as scientific.”20 Pseudoscience or pseudoscientism uses the scientific label to protect and promote opinions which are neither provable nor refutable.

Numerous critics in the field recognize the pseudoscientific nature of psychotherapy. In his book The Powers of Psychiatry, psychiatrist-lawyer Jonas Robitscher, says this about psychiatrists in general: His advice is followed because he is a psychiatrist, even though the scientific validity of his advice and recommendations has never been firmly established.21 He further states, “The infuriating quality of psychiatrists is . . . their insistence that they are scientific and correct and that their detractors, therefore, must be wrong.” 22 Research psychiatrist E. Fuller Torrey’s words are even more blunt: The techniques used by Western psychiatrists are, with few exceptions, on exactly the same scientific plane as the techniques used by witch doctors.23

Psychology as Religion

Book : Psychoheresy: The Psychological Seduction of Christianity (Paperback)
by Martin Bobgan (Author), Deidre Bobgan (Author)

An excerpt here from http://www.psychoheresy-aware.org

The Bible is full of explanations of why people behave the way they do and how they change. Beginning with Genesis, God demonstrated the basic problem of mankind: separation from God through sin. And, God provided the only lasting remedy for change: a restored relationship with God by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. A person’s separation from God or his active relationship with God will affect every attitude, every choice, and every action. The study of mankind from any other perspective will bring about a distorted view. Although we can observe, record and report external aspects of human nature, we must turn to Scripture for explanations of why people behave the way they do and how they can change. Every other explanation must be fully in agreement with Scripture to be accurate.

Psychology deals with the very same areas of concern already dealt with in Scripture. Explanations of why people behave the way they do and how they change have concerned philosophers, theologians, cultists, and occultists throughout the centuries. Since God has given an Instruction Book on how to live, all ideas about the why’s of behavior and the how’s of change must be viewed as religious in nature. Whereas the Bible claims divine revelation, psychotherapy claims scientific substantiation. Nevertheless, when it comes to behavior and attitudes and morals and values, we are dealing with religion, either the Christian faith or any one of a number of other religions including that of secular humanism.

Psychotherapy fits more reasonably into the category of religion than into the field of science. Those who look at psychotherapy from an analytical, research point of view have long suspected the religious nature of psychotherapy. Psychiatrist Jerome Frank says that “psychotherapy is not primarily an applied science. In some ways it more resembles a religion.”1

Many who practice psychotherapy embrace its religious aspects. According to Victor Von Weizsaecker, “C. G. Jung was the first to understand that psychoanalysis belonged in the sphere of religion.”2 Jung himself wrote: Religions are systems of healing for psychic illness. . . . That is why patients force the psychotherapist into the role of a priest, and expect and demand of him that he shall free them from their distress. That is why we psychotherapists must occupy ourselves with problems which, strictly speaking, belong to the theologian.3

Note that Jung used the word religions rather than Christianity. Jung himself had repudiated Christianity and explored other forms of religious experience, including the occult. Without throwing out the religious nature of man, Jung dispensed with the God of the Bible and assumed his own role as priest.

ROOTS OF RELIGIOUS ALTERNATIVES.
From its very beginning psychological theories and methods of counseling created doubt about Christianity. Each great innovator of psychological theories sought an understanding about mankind apart from the revealed Word of God. Each created an unbiblical system to explain the nature of man and to bring about change. Men like Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) and Carl Jung (1875-1961) eroded confidence in Christianity and established systems in direct opposition to the Word of God. Occultism, atheism, and antagonism towards Christianity were disguised by psychological, scientific sounding language.

Sigmund Freud reduced religious beliefs to illusions and called religion “the obsessional neurosis of humanity.”4 Jung, an early follower of Freud, however, viewed all religions as collective mythologies. He did not believe they were real in essence, but that they could affect the human personality. While Freud viewed religion as the source of mental problems, Jung believed that religion was a solution. Freud argued that religions are delusionary and therefore evil. Jung, on the other hand, contended that all religions are imaginary but good. Both positions are anti-Christian. One denies Christianity and the other mythologizes it.

Religious bias colored the psychological systems of both Freud and Jung. They were not dealing with science, but with values, attitudes, and behavior. And because they were working in areas about which the Bible gives the authoritative Word of God, they were developing antibiblical religions. Jay Adams says: Because of the teaching of the Scriptures, one is forced to conclude that much of clinical and counseling psychology, as well as most of psychiatry, has been carried on without license from God and in autonomous rebellion against Him. This was inevitable because the Word of the sovereign God of creation has been ignored. In that Word are “all things pertaining to life and godliness.” By it the man of God “may be fully equipped for every good work.” And it is that Word—and only that Word—that can tell a poor sinner how to love God with all of the heart, and mind, and soul, and how to love a neighbor with the same depth of concern that he exhibits toward himself.5

Professor of psychiatry and author Thomas Szasz contends, “The popular image of Freud as an enlightened, emancipated, irreligious person who, with the aid of psychoanalysis, ‘discovered’ that religion is a mental illness is pure fiction.”6 He says, “One of Freud’s most powerful motives in life was the desire to inflict vengeance on Christianity for its traditional anti-Semitism.”7 Freud used scientific-sounding language to disguise his hostility towards religion. However, Szasz declares, “There is, in short, nothing scientific about Freud’s hostility to established religion, though he tries hard to pretend that there is.” Freud was not an objective observer of humanity, nor was he an objective observer of religion.

While Freud grew up in a Jewish home, Jung’s father was a Protestant minister. Jung’s description of his early experience with Holy Communion reveals his disappointment with
Christianity. He wrote: Slowly I came to understand that this communion had been a fatal experience for me. It had proved hollow; more than that it had proved to be a total loss. I knew that I would never again be able to participate in this ceremony. “Why, that is not religion at all,” I thought. “It is an absence of God; the church is a place I should not go to. It is not life which is there, but death.”8

This significant experience could have led Jung to deny all religions as Freud did, but he did not. For him all religions were myths which contained some truth about the human psyche. For him, psychoanalysis was a religious activity. And, since all religions held some elements about truth, he denied the authority of Scripture and the exclusive claim of Jesus Christ to be the only way of salvation.

Carl Jung repudiated Christianity and became involved in idolatry. He renamed and replaced everything Christian and everything biblical with his own mythology of archetypes. And as he moved in his own sphere of idolatry, the archetypes took form and served him as familiar spirits. He even had his own personal familiar spirit by the name of Philemon. He also participated in the occultic practice of necromancy.9 Jung’s teachings serve to mythologize Scripture and reduce the basic doctrines of the faith into esoteric gnosticism.

Rather than objective observation and scientific discovery, Freud and Jung each turned his own experience into a new belief system and called it psychoanalysis. Freud attempted to destroy the spirituality of man by reducing religion to illusion and neurosis. Jung attempted to debase the spirituality of man by presenting all religion as mythology and fantasy. Repudiating the God of the Bible, both Freud and Jung led their followers in the quest for alternative understandings of mankind and alternative solutions to problems of living. They turned inward to their own limited imaginations and viewed their subjects from their own anti-Christian subjectivity.
Because they rest on different foundations, move in contrasting directions, and rely on opposing belief systems, psychotherapy and Christianity are not now, nor were they ever, natural companions in helping individuals. The faith once delivered to the saints was displaced by a substitute faith, often disguised as medicine or science, but based upon foundations which are in direct contradiction to the Bible.

Mary Stewart Van Leeuwen indicates the impetus psychology received from those who sought to repudiate Christianity by saying, “It appears that certain of the most influential pioneers in American psychology found in it an ideal vehicle for renouncing their own Christian upbringing in the name of science.”10

Carl Rogers is another example of one of those influential pioneers. While attending Union Theological Seminary, he and some of his fellow classmates “thought themselves right out of religious work.”11 He did not find what he was looking for in Christianity and thus turned away from his Christian upbringing and Christian calling.12 Carl Rogers renounced Christianity and became one of the most respected leaders of humanistic psychology. He confessed, “I could not work in a field where I would be required to believe in some specified religious doctrine.”13

Psychology was attractive to him since he was interested in the “questions as to the meaning of life,” but did not want to be restricted by the doctrines of Christianity.14 Not only did Carl Rogers embrace another religion, secular humanism; he later turned to the occult. Rogers engaged in the forbidden practice of necromancy, which is communication with the dead through a medium.15 What does a man who has repudiated Christianity have to offer the church about how to live?

From its inception, psychotherapy was developed as an alternative means of healing and help, not as an addition or complement to Christianity. It is not only a substitute method of helping troubled souls; it is a surrogate religion. Szasz contends: Contrition, confession, prayer, faith, inner resolution, and countless other elements are expropriated and renamed as psychotherapy; whereas certain observances, rituals, taboos, and other elements of religion are demeaned and destroyed as symptoms of neurotic or psychotic “illness.”16

Should Christians Go To Psychiatrists?

Bible Forbids Believers to Counsel with the Ungodly - http://www.jesus-is-savior.com

Psalm 1:1 says “Blessed is the man that walketh NOT in the COUNSEL OF THE UNGODLY…” Colossians 2:8, "BEWARE lest any man spoil you through PHILOSOPHY and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world and NOT after Christ."

Psychiatrists don’t take Satan or sin into account in their work. They train in heathen, godless universities where the Bible is laughed at and rejected. Psychiatrists and psychologists have replaced the word “SIN” with words such as "disease, dysfunction and addiction." The Bible speaks of “SIN” as the real problem and gives the answer.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the REDEMPTION THAT IS IN CHRIST” (Romans 3:23-26).

So the answer is in Christ Jesus! We read in I Peter 5:8...

“...YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, as a roaring lion, walketh about, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR:"

Satan is real, my friend and he’s out to get you! He hates you immensely. Your only protection is to become a born-again believer and then “SUBMIT yourselves therefore TO GOD. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). Notice that you must “submit to God first." Submit to the truth! Jesus said “ye shall know the truth, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” (John 8:32). “...thy Word is TRUTH” (John 17:17).

The Root Problem with Psychiatry

The big problem with going to an unsaved psychiatrist is that they're not trained upon Biblical principles. "Drugs" and "coping sessions" are the means by which they try to cure people. They're trained upon the worldly principles of evolution and humanism. Increasingly, psychologists today are using New Age witchcraft--yoga, astrology, etc.

God's Word + Psychology = Psychoheresy

So-called "Christian" psychology is no better. The problem of sin is never addressed. The plan of salvation is never offered. The Person of Jesus Christ is never introduced. It's disheartening as a Christian, to know that so many so-called "Christian" organizations never preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Folks, hell is real! People are plundering into hell by the tens-of-thousands every day. Even so-called "Christian psychologists" are bad news. Listen friend, you can go to all the shrinks you want to but you'll never have a sound mind until you get God into your life, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a SOUND MIND." (2 Timothy 1:7). A "sound mind" comes from God!!!

We are NOT all children of God. Only those who realize their sinful condition and turn to Christ in faith for the forgiveness of those sins are God's children. Only those who believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose again three days later can become God's children. Only those who believe that Jesus Christ is God Almighty are God's children. It is a Satanic lie to teach that all people are God's children--I wish it were so, but the Bible says it is NOT. I triple-dog dare you to ask the average person who claims to be a Christian if they believe that Jesus is Almighty God. You will find as I did that most professed "Christians" are not really saved. You must get saved friend if you want true lasting peace. You will never have peace until you accept Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior, "There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked." (Isaiah 48:22).

Your probably Not As Crazy As You Think You Are

It’s been said that Christians at best are people, and people at best are sinners. It's also been said that if you think your going crazy, it's a good sign your not. Crazy people don't usually think their crazy. I once knew a teacher who had an outgoing personality. He would always kid around and make people laugh. I once jokingly told him he was crazy. I'll never forget his reply--He said, "Yes, I'm a little crazy, but not insane; the way you keep from going insane is by being a little crazy." I think he had a good point there. I used to hear people say, "You can't take life too seriously." I had no idea what they were talking about. Life is very serious, how can you not take it seriously? As I grew older and started having heavier burdens of my own, I realized that I had to either let some things go or else I wasn't going to make it. Let go, Let God. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do about some things in life. It is these things that we must let go and place into the Lord's hands.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6).

Sometimes we understand "why?" something is happening in our life; however, sometimes we do not. There are two types of peace: once peace is "peace within understanding" where we know "why?" something is going on in our life. There is also a "peace which passes all understanding" where we have no idea "why?" something is happening but we trust in God anyhow. Friend, when you can't see the hand of God, trust the heart of God. You'll notice that "God" is not mentioned even one time in the book of Esther, yet we see the power of God at work. When you can't see your hand in front of your face, cast your cares upon God in prayer and claim God's peace which PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING. You can always have peace dear friend, simply trust upon the Lord. Put your problems into the Lord's Hands and wait on God.

Humans are Creatures of Emotion

God only had ONE Son without sin, but he never had a son without trial and tribulation. We humans are creatures of emotion. God gave us (as human beings) the capacity to cry, laugh, fear, mourn, anger, rejoice, etc. These are NORMAL experiences of life; however, these emotions may become “overwhelming” at times and so help is needed. It is a shame that people have to hide their natural feelings. I spoke with one woman who said her supervisor at work forced her to go for counseling because she came to work crying. There are commercials on TV asking people if they have any of the following depression symptoms: feeling tired, worn out, stressful, fatigued, irritable, insomnia, headaches, feeling like crying for no reason, etc. Folks, this describes 90% of the working population. People that work for a living experience all of these things naturally. We all feel burned out sometimes. Often, it's the people who try the hardest to make a better life that face the greatest setbacks. Nevertheless, we all have problems and emotions. This does NOT means there is something wrong with us. We need to learn how to deal with life...from the Bible.

Legal Drug Dealers

The medical industry (in my humble opinion) exploits people. Way too many people are taking drugs which they do not need. A drug for this, and a drug for that. Not to mention the negligence--A doctor once prescribed over 90 pills to me because he thought I had the flu. I started to take the pills but then went to another doctor when they weren't working after a few days. It turned out I just has sinuses. We need to be careful is what I am saying. The Bible teaches that humans are by nature like sheep, we are gullible. We must not do something simply because someone tells us to do it. Very few people know about "homeopathic" doctors which offer "natural cures" for many so-called "incurable" conditions. There are many alternatives to drugs, but you'll never hear about them from your doctor or the drug companies. The whole drug industry is a big money-making scam!

Hegelian Dialectic ... a socialist brainwashing technique

"Consensus Process", a 200 year-old socialist brainwashing technique known by social psychologists the world over as the "Hegelian Dialectic", developed by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel in the late 1700's that involves the practice of compromise to achieve social harmony between opposing groups and/or belief systems. The "Hegelian Dialectic" is especially damaging to those of the faith who are compelled by the process to accept the unacceptable in order to gain the approval of the group. It is the herd mentality of humanist thinking and an abomination before God.

You see the Bible is FULL of godly men who stood alone and died fighting the heresy of the herd mentality, including Jesus Himself. Being "at odds with everyone else" is EXACTLY what got Him nailed to a cross! He said: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:13-14) This certainly doesn't bode well for pastors whose primary agenda is church growth and big numbers.

It was not a tolerant Jesus who cleared the temple in Jerusalem of moneychangers with a whip or a tolerant John the Baptist who publicly railed against King Herod for marrying his brother’s wife or a tolerant Paul that stood up against Peter for alienating uncircumcised believers or tolerance that got most of the disciples beheaded or crucified in the early days of the church. Yet, here we are entering a new millennium, crossing that illustrious "Bridge To The 21st Century", as a re-invented church of tolerance, diversity and unity. As the doors are all thrown open to anyone and anything, I ask you, is the church affecting the culture or is the culture infecting the church? Who is proselytizing whom here? Look around and tell me what you see.

It wasn't long before a vulgar campaign for cash began at The People's Church as if someone was running for political office, complete with banquets, dinners, awards, lots of flattering speech, testimonials, presentations, private meetings and special attention given to the church's "big givers", (their term, not mine) all to benefit a massive new building program that would put us in a high-tech "worship center" and twelve million dollars in debt.

Just the other day I was listening to a pre-recorded radio program on the internet called "Steel On Steel" hosted by John Loeffler. He was interviewing a former teacher and expert on European history and philosophy by the name of Dean Gotcher about the "Hegelian Dialectic" or "Consensus Process" and how it is has successfully been integrated into the government, the media, the military, law enforcement, public education, colleges, seminaries and even the church to centralize everything and unify us all into the socialist mindset of global governance. The global-socialist goal is and always has been a one-world government and a one-world religion. They have used the "Hegelian Dialectic" for centuries to control large populations around the world and steer them toward a "New World Order". Near the end of the hour-long program, he casually mentioned a couple of Christian organizations that were known for seducing churches into this "Consensus Process" with "progressive" church-growth programs where compromising brings in big numbers. The temptation of such worldly fruit is obviously hard to resist, even among the most faithful of pastors. Nonetheless, doing unholy things in the name of Christ does not make them holy.

When Dean Gotcher mentioned one of those organizations as being "The Willow Creek Association", bells began ringing, lights began flashing and all of a sudden five years of confusion, contention and controversy between my pastor and me were INSTANTLY brought into complete clarity. OF COURSE! The People’s Church belonged to the Willow Creek Association! Once my eyes were opened to their carnal ways through additional research, combined with all that I had learned over the years about global-socialism, I became convinced that we, (the church) had been brought into the "Consensus Process" by way of a socialistic humanist organization posing as a Christian ministry, complete with "change-agents" and "facilitators" (wolves in sheep’s clothing) that I myself had encountered personally from Sunday School to Sunday worship. Apparently, THIS was the pastor's "new direction" for The First Baptist Church. It came as no surprise to later discover that Willow Creek's founder, Bill Hybels is a dear friend and personal minister to the nation’s most renown socialist and "facilitator", Bill Clinton. NOW I KNOW why my pastor began sounding so 'Clintonesque" in his Sunday morning sermons some three or four years ago.

As I went on to research The Willow Creek Association, I discovered that thousands upon thousands of established churches around the country were being transformed into sensory driven "seeker churches" EXACTLY like ours under the guidance and direction of this organization, all with the same tolerance, diversity and unity theme, liberal worship format, scripturally shallow teaching, heavy on the comfort and light on the conscience, equipped with huge multi-media projection screens, large sound systems, exotic music, no choir, female ministers, feelings-motivated skits, dance interpretations and heavily burdened with millions of dollars of debt from building state-of-the-art entertainment venues they call "worship centers". I think the revolving disco ball sparkling overhead at our dedication service a couple of years ago was a REAL poignant moment for me personally.

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever." (1st John 2:15-17)

I have long-since worn out my welcome with certain members of the church staff by repeatedly protesting our involvement in these ecumenical movements and carnal extravaganzas beginning with the "men's movement"; that emotionally driven, highly advertised, celebrity endorsed, spiritually misguided and now financially bankrupt organization known as "Promise Keepers". The "Consensus Process" or "Hegelian Dialectic" teaches "facilitators" to isolate, intimidate and even shame their critics into silence and cooperation with "hurt feelings" as their license and authority. This too is carnal. Those seeking group acceptance and approval are powerless against it. Frankly, I'd much rather have God's acceptance and approval than the herd's. You see The Willow Creek Association always emphasizes "felt needs", unity, harmony, peace and human relationships over everything else...Just like the United Nations. But, that's not the Gospel.

"Consensus" is all about compromising toward "group-think" not God think. It is conformity to the collective through peer-pressure. This is the very heart of the heresy. Centralization toward globalism is the reason for consensus and explains why so many big corporations have merged into government-controlled monopolies; why the two major political parties have become almost indistinguishable; why national borders have become virtually meaningless; why national sovereignty is being surrendered to the United Nations; why the Constitution is being ignored by our own president; why "The Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders" is meeting in August to christen a One World Religion and world leaders from 160 nations are meeting in September at the UN. for "The Millennium Summit" to initiate World Government, complete with its own criminal court, tax system and standing army. Unfortunately, the nasty little secret about the consensus process is that any and all issues discussed usually have a pre-determined outcome provided by the attending "facilitator". Imagine that! Conscience and compromise can NEVER co-exist. They are ALWAYS incompatible. One MUST surrender to the other for there to be unity. Consensus therefore, will ALWAYS lead it’s followers away from biblical absolutes and Authority (i.e., "Thus sayeth the Lord....") to obtain the acceptance and approval of the group.

We all want to be loved don't we? Some of us are desperate to be loved. It is undoubtedly why so many have given their lives to the entertainment and film industry and made Hollywood their "Emerald City". They have been taught throughout the 20th century that if they could only be a "big star" they would be loved and accepted by everyone. The desire to BE LOVED is natural but loving those that don’t agree with us is unnatural and difficult. Jesus said: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself'". Yet, millions of children for over half a century listened and learned as The Wizard Of Oz told the Tin Man: "...a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." This is consensus over conviction, covetousness over conscience and flesh over spirit, the heresy of Hollywood and the wages of Willow Creek...following the crowd and the culture in order to be loved and accepted.

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12)

"They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand." (Isaiah 44:18)

The root of the Beta Course

"A little leaven leavens the whole loaf" (I Cor. 5:6)
The most dangerous leaven of all is a false science that presents a different view of man’s nature, and an improved way of solving his problems.

Defintion of psy·chol·o·gy click HERE or go to http://www.answers.com/topic/psychology
1. The science that deals with mental processes and behavior.
2. The emotional and behavioral characteristics of an individual, group, or activity: the psychology of war.
3. Subtle tactical action or argument used to manipulate or influence another: He used poor psychology on his employer when trying to make the point.
4. Philosophy. The branch of metaphysics that studies the soul, the mind, and the relationship of life and mind to the functions of the body.

BETA COURSE originated from the Psychology and Christianity Project, Centre for Advanced Religious & Theological Studies, Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge.
click HERE or go to http://www.beta-course.org/psychology_and_christianity.htm The foundational assumptions of the Project are that Christianity emphasises the possibility of change in human beings and that psychology is the modern discipline in which processes of human change are understood and conceptualised. In the light of this, the Project seeks to foster a more extensive and fruitful use of psychology by the Church. Previous use of psychology by the Church has drawn on the psychology of counselling and therapy and has been applied to work with people who present pastoral problems. In contrast, we aim to draw on psychology more broadly, and to apply it to the whole spectrum of work of the Church.

Neil T. Anderson who co-wrote a book on BETA COURSE called Freedom in Christ also co-wrote Christ-Centered Therapy: The Practical Integration of Theology and Psychology. This is a first-of-its-kind text that successfully accomplishes a full integration of psychology and theology with the goal of endorsing a biblical psychology that can guide Christ-centered counseling for Christian professionals and counselors.

Psychology The Trojan Horse. Click HERE to read the entire chapter 5 of this book,
Recognizing Deception and Apostasy By Dene McGriff.

If ever there was the perfect Trojan Horse - something that could undermine the church and turn its thinking from a Biblical to a humanistic base, this is it. We opened the doors of our churches, our Bible Schools and Seminaries and embraced it. We tried to integrate it with Biblical teachings and came up with the greatest, newest, most improved way of ever dealing with the human condition - and we call it “Christian Psychology”! I could take a survey of solid evangelical Christians and ask them what they think of “Christian” psychology, and I am sure I would get a positive response from 99 out of 100. It would be even higher among pastors. So, are they right or am I just tilting at windmills?

If we are living in the "latter times," one of the most important questions facing Christians will be: How will we recognize deception? How will we recognize apostasy? How can we guard against being deceived and falling away? A friend said the deception of Satan is pitiful but is it healthy to be so cavalier in dismissing Satan and his abilities? He is the "angel of light" and his deception is bound to be so good that most people, including Christians will be misled. The word apostasy means "falling away." One doesn't decide to "fall away." It starts with a series of little compromises, attitudes and decisions. Once the downward slide begins, it often becomes too slippery to climb back up. Falling away begins a little at a time. "A little leaven leavens the whole loaf" (I Cor. 5:6). The loaf can be 99% pure unleavened bread, but once the process works its course, it becomes 100% leavened. The process is slow and subtle. It starts by allowing a little mixture. That is why throughout the Old Testament, God hated mixture. Any time his people mixed with the heathen and their religion, they fell away from God. In modern times, we have seen the leaven of modern culture seeping into the church. The most dangerous leaven of all is a false science that presents a different view of man’s nature, and an improved way of solving his problems. Yet, because it is so accepted by Christians, it is a very difficult subject to deal with. I have received more opposition to my position on Christian Psychology than any other topic.

The Intrusion of Psychology into Christian Theology

by Don Matzat - Issues, Etc. Journal - September 1996 - Vol. 1 No. 9 - A three-part discussion of the threat that modern psychology poses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Modern psychology is not an innocent helping-discipline that we can carelessly borrow from the kingdom of the left-hand and merge with our pastoral theology. There are theories and techniques in psychology, such as self-esteem, the encounter dynamic, and psychological mysticism, that can grossly distort Christian truth and inflict grave spiritual damage upon Christian people. While most Christian denominations desire to remain faithful to the truth of God’s Word and dot every theological "i " and cross every theological "t", those same denominations, when it comes to the deceptive offerings of modern psychology, practice minimal discernment. The reason is simple. Pastors and church leaders are not equipped to do so.

Christian pastors should be primarily concerned with theology, not psychology. If a pastor has a doctorate in psychology and is in a position of influence within the denomination, he is virtually untouchable. He can promote any theory, recommend any book, and practice any methodology because he is one of the few professionals in a sea of amateurs. Who has the credentials to challenge him?

We must carefully discern the theories and practices of modern psychology before we visit them upon the people of God.

There are many issues that divide Christians today, but there is no issue that is more inflammatory than the issue of the relationship between secular psychology and Christian theology. Some popular Christian teachers are willing to embrace the theories and practices of modem psychology and integrate them with Christian/biblical truths. After all, as they often explain, "all truth is God’s truth." Others completely reject modern psychology, refer to it disparagingly as "psychobabble," and condemn the writings of those who dare to quote the findings of its practitioners.
