The Message "paraphrased bible" - beware ! - Part 2
The Message paraphrased bible has been purposefully being mis-translated ie. with the purpose to lure Christians into new age thinking. It replaces God’s words with New Age terminology to deceive unsuspecting readers. The only message this bible is teaching is the new age message. To see some of the comparison, click the links below.
"The Message" DELETES the reference to God's holy name, ADDS requests not voiced by Jesus, and changes the meaning of other verses.
Matthew 6:9-13
"Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
The Message:
"Our Father in heaven, Reveal who you are.
Set the world right;
Do what's best - As above, so below.
Keep us alive with three square meals.
Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others.
Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil.
