Smith takes the reader into the inner working of today’s evangelical world as he explains the questionable interconnections of Christian and New Age leaders, and the possibility of Rick Warren’s Peace Plan merging with the New Age Peace Plan. Smith contends that New Age sympathizer Robert Schuller has had a great influence on Rick Warren’s teachings and that Schuller’s influence can be found in Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life. Smith was a former New Age follower and he draws from his knowledge of the New Age subculture that is being subtly weaved into the Christian culture.

It is written in Acts 20:28-33 that we as His flock need to be seriously aware of grievous wolves amongst us. Ezekiel 33:1-7 clearly instructs us to be watchmen. We are not only to hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering ( Hebrews 10 :22-25), but we should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).

Therefore, do not be ignorant of the enemy's devices, Hosea 4:6 warns of the serious consequences. We are call to totally rely on the Word of God as our only plumb-line of life, as it is written in 2Timothy 3:16, the Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do? Speak truth in love ... Aletheia en Agape.
